I was born in the Philippines, raised in Taiwan, educated in New York, and am now pursuing fortune and adventure in Singapore. I moved out here a month before my 25th birthday, on a whim, to see if I could start my life from scratch and get away with it. As it turns out, this isn’t something you can achieve on your own, so I’m extremely grateful to the friends and friends of friends who helped me meet people, find a place to live, and adjust to life here without languishing from homesickness.
I’m here because I’d like to participate in something greater, be it a movement, a vision, or an organization. I can write, I can edit websites, and I can talk up any objective or product as if it’s the greatest thing in the world — because to you, it is. But you need other people to know that and believe it. That’s where I come in.
Here’s a few more things you should know about me:
- Thanks to freelancing full time from my bedroom for a year, it is impossible for me to fall asleep before 1 AM.
- The worst insult I can receive is that I am boring.
- I lived in New York for five years. While there, I saw the Naked Cowboy exactly zero times. But speaking of Times Square, I did get boob-punched by a giraffe mascot at the Toys R Us this one time.
- I am a Google ninja. I can surreptitiously stalk the &^%$ out of anybody and anything.
- I am looking for full-time work, so check out my resume and send me a message if you’re interested in hiring someone who knows her way around the web.
